I love helping students master real-world German with structure, confidence and results.

I'm Sophia Schmidt, a certified German language professional (Goethe & telc) and content creator. For over eight years I've helped learners from around the world progress from A1 basics to B1 business fluency and succeed in Goethe and telc exams.

Alongside teaching I create digital learning materials and publish articles on German grammar, vocabulary, exam strategies and intercultural communication.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in clarity, structure and authenticity. I believe that understanding how the language works empowers learners to communicate confidently – whether in daily life, academic studies or professional settings.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy exploring German cafés, studying Italian and experimenting with new digital tools for language learning.
