German Vocabulary Runner Game

Vocabulary Runner turns German words practice into a side-scrolling runner. Your jetpack cat races across a world while a German word waits at the top of the screen and your job is to reach the platform holding the correct English translation before your lives or the clock run out.

Goal

Score as many points as possible in 2 minutes by translating German words correctly, keeping your answer streak alive, and staying out of gaps in the ground. The game rewards accuracy over speed: a wrong guess costs more than a careful jump.

How to play

1. To move a character use A/D/Space or arrow keys.
2. A German word appears at the top of the screen with its pronunciation.
3. Three platforms show possible translations, jump or fly to the correct one before time runs out.
4. Reaching the end of a platform locks in that answer, so you can preview a platform without committing.
5. Correct answers score points and build a streak; wrong answers cost a life and reset your streak.
6. Collect stars for bonus points and hearts for extra lives.
7. Use your jetpack (hold Space or the on-screen button) to reach higher platforms, fuel regenerates when not in use.
8. The game ends when you run out of lives or the timer hits zero.
